Today P-Edge media announces that PNGShrink has been removed from the Mac App Store™. I am discontinuing this product and support.
PNGShrink was introduced in 2015 to support web- and app developers in making their PNG file sizes as small as possible. Today, with increase disk sizes and faster internet connections these small optimisations no longer seem needed.
I would like to thank all my users who were excited about this app and used it to compress millions of PNG files along the way.
Current users of PNGShrink can still continue using the app until they delete it or until newer versions of macOS are no longer compatible.
